What Is SAMURAI RUACH?
The Samurai Ruach logo is far more than a symbol—it’s a declaration. It embodies a dynamic universe where philosophy meets fiction, spirit meets style, and ancient warrior codes fuel futuristic realities. Rooted in the Samurai’s path of discipline, devotion, and honor, and elevated by the breath of divine spirit—Ruach, a Hebrew word meaning “wind,” “spirit,” or “breath”—this logo speaks to a profound journey of conscious living and powerful BEING.
"Samurai" represents not just the armored warriors of feudal Japan, but a way of life guided by Bushidō—the “Way of the Warrior.” It’s a code of moral principles centered around loyalty, integrity, courage, respect, and self-mastery. Paired with "Ruach," which in spiritual tradition—especially as Ruach HaKodesh—refers to the Holy Spirit or sacred breath of divine insight, the name becomes a living ethos: a warrior of light and truth, breathing divine purpose into every act of being.
This is the pulse of Samurai Ruach—a multidimensional, genre-bending saga spanning books, illustrated novels, shows, and music. It exists in a vivid sci-fi world filled with zombies, elves, werewolves, clones, dragons, androids, cosmic battles, mystical codes, and infinite possibilities, all asking one thing: Why do you exist?
The "Book of the Samurai Ruach" and its subtexts—like "The Book of Blacklights," "The Book of Threes," and "The Book of Consideration"—expand this universe into a deep philosophical and spiritual lens. Through the core concept of "BEING BE-ing Being(s)," these works explore the levels of human awareness, conscious creation, and divine embodiment, giving practical tools for awakening and walking the path of truth.
Woven throughout is the guiding phrase:
"C'est la guerre, la vie, et le jeu"
—This is the war, the life, and the game.
It is an acknowledgment of life’s dualities: the struggle and play, the joy and chaos, the dance between survival and spirit. To live with awareness is to play the game honestly.
The Samurai Ruach logo is the seal for anyone walking that honest path. Whether you are:
-
A fan of the series and its epic mythos,
-
A spiritual seeker resonating with divine breath and sacred truth,
-
A warrior of life living with purpose and clarity,
-
Or simply someone on the path of self-mastery, honoring the art of BEING and becoming...
...this logo stands with you.
It’s not just a brand—it’s a mirror.
A crest for the ones who breathe fire with love, stand still in chaos, and wear their soul with honor. Understanding to the point of knowing, and knowing by way of BEING your honest self, through all expressions of your self. That is the way of the Samurai Ruach.
"It is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Be honest. Walk your walk. All ways always. C'est la guerre, la vie, et le jeu." --Samurai Ruach.
SAMURAI RUACH started as an all genres, multi-format series that has grown from a script into a project with many interesting parts. As you can see above, it's been quite a ride and i'm glad you're here to check it out! I hope something here is a blessing for you and yours. This whole project has been very educational and inspiring, and if I can share some of that to help you, then I'm all for it!
....By the way, if you click on the images above, there should be a link to take you to some of those pages to see more, along with the info about the image that's there.
The original script for the web series focused on filling the gap, when it came to shows for "regular working people" who just want something adventurous and cool, yet still spiritual and faith based, to get into. After family shows got replaced with "reality tv", almost everything that whole school & working generation had to watch or read (that was faith or spirituality based) led away from honest spiritual relationships, and leaned towards religion or witchcraft or something. Most of the shows, even though I loved them, were still either outdated or kind of corny now, or on the dark side, possibly leading them astray-- or in an opposite direction of their walk and spiritual development. Other than that, you had megachurches with "God's going to bless you... with money or power or something" or even some good preachers, but they're preachers. If you're entertained by a preacher, or watch them to unwind after school or work, something's off-- my opinion. There were also a few popular kids shows, maybe a movie, or Bible time/era themed show. There was no MATRIX, no LORD OF THE RINGS, WALKING DEAD, AVENGERS, REIGN OF FIRE for people who appreciate what religion does, but are honestly just spiritual and trying to develop that in a positive way... something they could binge watch and talk to their friends about without feeling judgment because it was relative and diverse-- even though it's a series, you could identify with it! So? Samurai Ruach.
I started writing the script and the whole project just expanded from there. It was a way for me to use all of the talents and skills I've developed, things I'm actually passionate about, that have a purpose to me, for something worth while. We've all spent plenty of life throwing it away for jobs or someone else's ideas, and never enough money. Take your time, mind, and being, and be your self with it. Life gets shorter every day. It's been a great experience overall, tapping into forgotten places, and extremely educational, and I hope others can benefit in the same way I have from this series, and everything else involved in the project.
Below are examples of a few parts of the project, to give you more of a feel of some of what's involved. Thank you for checking it out! I hope there's something here that's a blessing to you!
