The songs I made for this project, and own are all here to listen to freely, and for download if you'd like them. Honestly, THE VAULT (Bandcamp) is where you want to go if you want to see my entire released music catalogue. SOUNDCLOUD was a site i used a lot, but need to catch up on.Other than that, for this project, the ALBUMS here and the VIDEO PLAYLISTS should sum it up.
I'm thinking that the image above is of when I was doing either "The Android Deity..." (track 05) or "Maiden Amerika" (track 46?)-- they're both on the "Byrd Mess On Strings" fundraiser album (listed below). It's an instrumental album, based on strings. This program (above) was ACID. "Was", past tense, is the key word, as in so many issues with the program and company that when it stopped working, and then the account just vanished on its own (because they say it wasn't deleted, it's just that no one can find it, and the email addresses used come up with no account), and the serial number I gave them was no longer a valid serial number-- now (as of Dec. 2024) all audio production for the project is on pause. So, since those were some of the last songs I'd done, I'm thinking this was a shot of one of those. Still looking for a new D.A.W. to get back into it, because there's a LOT of things that need to get done. That whole post about "WHAT'S NEEDED" (on Patreon) is accurate. Acid is a great program-- it's just, currently, the business of it sucks. When it was Sonic Foundry (who started it) it was great.
Anyways, THERE'S A LOT OF MUSIC IN SAMURAI RUACH. I've been doing all of my own music and recording since maybe 1998 or '99. The best way to get the sounds and everything that i wanted, or as close to what i could hear in my head, was to just do it myself, so that's what I've always done. This project is no different-- as far as the songs I've done for it. There are other songs that fit, that i did not create, and I throw those in as best as i can. The Patreon and writing formats here on this site allow me to add songs in (via videos) right when they occur, so you can press play and listen to the song in the background just as it's playing in the reading. I'll even read the [book/short/script/etc/] as the song is playing to get the timing right. You can see this in things like the music in CHAPTER 2 of Samurai Ruach the novel, when Ben goes to the Market District and meets Aminah, and plays Mind Over Matter. Also, in the short stories, the whole episode of Dr. Judith Wood and her colleagues, playing music in the background while uploading Malena into the AI world. There's also songs that play in the background of Mind Over Matter gameplay (play-along) videos, and other videos. So, from that, you can see there's a few different usages in music in this project.
Anyways, back when I could do music, as in had the time, resources, space, and mind to do it, I did everything in-house. For this project, all of the [everything, even this site] I had to do. Yes, it IS a lot for one person, but, as you can see, if you have the time, mind, resources, and space, then YES it is possible to do, which is why I also posted as much as I could, the behind the scenes with all of everything that was used. That way, if anyone else was in the same position, you could just see what I did, and do better. I strongly urge you to go after your project. Make it happen. And if and when your prayers aren't answered, remember, i told YOU to make it happen... no one else. People wait for the money, the equipment, the time, God, the people... and then end up with nothing but time wasted. Figure something out. If you can't do the exact thing you're wanting to do, find out how to get it. Plan. Always be pushing forward. Even without proper equipment now, I'm still making all of the notes, and still working it from every other angle, and looking into how to get the right equipment. Please don't accept "No." It can be "Not right now" but don't accept "No."
Other people won't get it. They don't have time, because their time is for them to be them. Yours is for you to be you and do you. That Book of Blacklights is a nice thing, if you've never read it. The Book of 3's too. I've been doing a lot on my own for a long time-- so long that I wouldn't know what help would be, or how to use it, because normally it got in the way. So, yes, you can do a project like this all on your own. Check out that post on Patreon "What Is Needed" and some of the other behind the scenes stuff, which shows everything I used, and how to do all of this as close to free, and with as little AI, using your OWN skill and talents as much as possible. AI is nice and all, but you're not an artist if you use AI, you're a prompter. I don't even really consider it art, just content. Your prompt would be art, because that's what YOU expressed and created.

Samurai Ruach Albums
These albums are the songs that i personally did for this project. Some started out for other things, but they just fit here, so i added them here as well. I'm pretty free when it comes to music, and don't think it should be a hassle to get something that could help to balance you out and keep you from going over the edge. It's why most of the music i do is "Name Your Price." It's also why i do the shirts and designs how i do them, to fit as much info, and make them as stylish as i can (in the SHOP/Store). I also try to keep those prices down to a minimum too, and even show how all of the pricing works in some of the product breakdown videos. If you're interested in any of those, my favorite collections in the shop so far are the "Trying To Have A Nice Day" collection, and the "Blacklight" style collection. I know... tangent. Anyways, here's the music so far for this project. When i can update it to add more, i will. Until then you should be able to download the songs individually, or/and just download the whole album. I think clicking on each track might bring up the artwork, which I did too. I do all of my own graphic design and music... and everything else here on this site.

Samurai Ruach Playlists
The Dr. Judith Wood Playlist is a neat one. So, in the Diaries Short Stories collection, there's one story where scientists (Dr. Judith Wood and her colleagues) are in the process of uploading the first human being to the New Haven digital domain. It's a world created by conscious, self-aware AI, after the war with humanity. While working, "Jude" likes to jam out to stay calm, yet focused, so the songs play in the background. I have them in the actual story, so you can press play as your reading, and i tried to time it to different reading levels so that the songs end right when they end in the story. It's like a way of being there in the room with them.

Next (below) is a playlist of the songs featured in the main series. Some you may know, others you might not. There's a bunch of license and clearance you have to get to actually use them, copyright stuff... PAYMENTS, so I just made a playlist and mention the songs in the script or book. It's not an official soundtrack, but they are songs that I would like to be featured, if and when i get the whole project to the level i want it at. Until then, there's this. You can go to the playlist and hear it for your self. If it works out that I can get all of the clearances (and get another D.A.W. to do some kind of audio work again) that would be good too.

This next one is a playlist for The Zephaniah Chesterfield Project, which is another band project which is where the whole world of Samurai Ruach came from. This band is a portal jumping, bar-hopping, band touring the multiverse and doing gigs in all realities. While they're roaming around each of the band members has their own storyline and arc. It's a pretty cool project. A bit of the songs done and used in the Samurai Ruach project were done by this band, so, here's all of the songs (on youtube anyways). There's a lot more on Bandcamp.
