Above are some images of the whole journey, pretty much from the start, up to right now. I don't have all of the equipment used, and some of it stopped working, but everything i used is in a Patreon post called "What Is Needed" which shows what is needed to move forward, in a decent way. But to give you a glimpse of what I've been doing, there's that set of pictures above. For the few folks who've been supportive, thank you. I appreciate it. Even the smallest drops. This is a lot for one person, but to me it's worth doing. Also, to you out there, if it seems like you're the only one out to make your dream happen? SO WHAT. You probably are. MAKE IT HAPPEN. It's YOUR dream. Everyone else is too busy doing theirs, or trying to get you to do theirs. YOU HAVE TO PUT YOU FIRST AND JUST DO YOUR THING, even when, and ESPECIALLY WHEN [it seems like] you are alone and no one cares. YOU CARE. YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!
But, yeah, above, that's the journey pretty much. There's a LOT missing, but then this page would take forever to load. Started in a roach hotel. Since then, the project has grown quite a bit! Some of it was planned and some of it was just needed to make those planned parts happen. It's been an interesting and educational journey, leading to some new music, a whole series of books (and different styles of those!), videos, a card game, and a lot more!
I'm very thankful for all of the support and feedback so far. Most of his is solo. I know there are some parts of this that some people are more interested in, while other parts might not be up their alley or their style. Some are about the music, some about the spirituality and philosophy books of thought, others for the action series, some love the script version to act out with friends. Here [below] are some ways you can help keep the project going and growing. Thank you!
Honestly, Patreon seems to be one of the best ways to support. It works for everyone. Subscribe to any of the teirs there and you get to stay updated whenever things get updated and added, posted, etc. If Patreon would sync/connect to the stores I went with, I wouldn't even have this site here. It does everything well enough. That QR code there goes to the "Collections" tab on the Patreon page, but the MEMBERSHIP tab is right there in the menu ( Home... Collections... Shop... MEMBERSHIPS...)
Yeah, this site is pretty cool, and it does take things up a few notches, but if you don't have a website, and are on a budget, Patreon does just about everything you'd need, and you get to have your subscribers (even free ones). You get to pick what you want to post to the open public and what stuff is members only. It's just a good system. If Bandcamp and Patreon got together it would be the perfect thing for artists, maybe even Rumble (the video service, like Youtube but with actual freedom).
PAYPAL has always been a solid way to make a contribution to the project if you didn't want to become a member on Patreon, or even buy any music, merch, or any other avenues here. There are a lot of people who just appreciate everything that's here but don't want or need to make any purchases at the moment, or they may just be looking to give a more substantial boost to the project, more than any of those avenues would do! Whatever the reason, I thank you and appreciate the support!
Byrd Mess On Strings (fundraiser album)
"Byrd Mess On Strings" is an instrumental album compiled as a fundraiser for the Samurai Ruach project. The album consists of over 60 songs, and the artwork for the songs. All of the songs are string based (guitar, bass, violin, etc.) and all original music. Some of it is featured in the Samurai Ruach playlist/soundtrack which has music used in the project.
Buying some of the reading material that the project consists of is a good way to help support the project. There are all different types, from the script to the novel version, and the books of thought and spirituality... There's something here for everyone. They're also listed in different formats.
For instance, "I Hope This Helps" is the majority free to the public on the Patreon Page. The only part that is members only (which you can see with a Free Subscription) is the original first draft version which started it all. That project is a "cheat sheet" of SOME, not ALL, but a good deal of Spiritual, Religious, Esoteric, Paranormal, and other information. If you were interested in which deity is which, and their names in every religion or pantheon, what holidays or planets or months are named after them, their frequency in hz.. things like that.
