T002 - Wood, Judith - 26/F/Parkers - Anomaly in bio-scan when “uploading” Ms. Malena Zartianiyan - During the initial diagnostic scanning process, one of the readings showed a surge of power, which may just have been a glitch when “uploading” Ms. Malena Zartianiyan into the New Haven Domain. This is a transcript of an audio recording which was obtained when Ms. Zartianiyan was being monitored, just as The One (AI) took control of the transference process to allow Ms. Zartianiyan into the New Haven domain.

Project Specialist, Judith Wood, neurologist, mind mapping and transference technician, Landson Corp. The time is now [12:02:33 pm]. The consciousness of Ms. Malena Zartianiyan is on the last stages of transference…. so far, so good. Well… So far so good as of right now. It was a quite the impressive display, actually… sitting and watching it? A little terrifying to know that that level of tech is not only "out there" but RIGHT HERE, like with us, and there was a war, and a treaty, and now this.... and IT's doing it on it's own... like free will?--

Virtual baby. This went from zero to light speed rather quickly. Mmhmm.

The whole scope of this project is enough! More than enough! …Buuut… It was pretty cool to see that though, the whole transference process, actually successfully done, in real-time. As the consciousness passed through, it kinda found itself, layer by layer, like it-- or, she, remembered her self, layer by layer... system by system, ya know? Like walking through a… a field, or through a portal or something--
[Woman in background: Yeah! And as, I guess, her memory uploaded it created the reality which she just… snapped right into. That’s how it looked to me--]
Right! She just clicked, but… quick. No recovery time needed. Just right in… Establishing, or re-establishing? I don’t even know how to describe that. Like in a dream, you never make your self over. You’re just you, there. But to this world, you’re phasing out, even though your body is still here, and in that dream world, you’re phasing in.
[Man in background: Exactly! So glad you phrased it like that, with the dream waking state… thing! I got the same kind of vibe. Remember those sleep studies we did of them all?]

Creepy either way. Anyway, we’re here in the secondary observation and backup control room. The other two subjects in the demonstration are Sgt. Bobby Wu, and the real focus, I guess, of this note, and the project in general-- Ms. Malena Zartianiyan. So there’s that. I’m not naming all of the names to save time, because (sigh) this whole.. intro, has gone on long enough (chuckles), and for security, protecting persons and blah blah blah blah, this is a log entry, just making a note for myself of myself, Ms. Judith Wood… I think I gave my information at the start of this recording.

Ok, well, what I’m thinking I saw is a strange reading in her gamma patterns. Well, not thinking. I KNOW I saw something. Because of Phoenix’s fine drowsy juice work, our subject, Ms. Malena Zartianiyan, drifted off to sleep as projected, which would make the consciousness transfer less shocking, as she would be-- or was projected to be, in a receptive state and able to be… uploaded? Keat?
[Keat: Uploaded is accurate.]
Uploaded into the New Haven domain. The One (AI) assisted in the transfer from within the New Haven domain, so the framework for all of... that, was programmed into Ms. Zartianiyan’s consciousness by the AI. Afterwards, The One then recrea--well- it created a… body.. for Ms. Zartianiyan, based on duplicating her water-born vessel, or natural body. As each layer was created; skeletal, circulatory, yadda yadda, Ms. Malena Zartianiyan was then I guess shifted, from her physical body into the New Haven digital body to check the newly created system for form, function, and fit. However, as this was happening, maybe like right when the body was fully formed, right when she became aware of her self there, I saw… (looking through papers) …Ok so, (rustling through paperwork) look riiiiight here, right at 11… where is it… There! 11:58:23! There was an anomaly. See that spike?
[Estevez: Hmm… how about that. Gamma, like you said.]

And this here… Right there. Same time. Digital printout. Different reading. Everything comes out normal-- no anomaly. And--crap, I'm sorry-- Baptiste’ where’s the, uh... glass, tablet thing?

Exactly! Everything that is connected shows the same reading, but the one independent system, it lines up everything else the same, except right there.
[Phoenix: And we’ve got gadgets and gizmo’s a plenty. And they’re all tracking Ms. Zartianiyan-- Melina. What about the other two? The robot and Sgt. Wu?]
[Estevez: Wu’s took a little longer too, that was.. well, I don’t know what to make of that because none of this has been done before, so--]
[Wes: yeah, but they’re both military-trained.]
[Estevez: Wu is active.]
[Keat: I don’t see how that would really matter. Muscle memory alone, that tied into how she’s had more trauma to program her muscle memory, and survival instincts dig deeper, ya know? If anything, yeah, she should code and everything faster because she’s firing at a higher rate. He would have to adapt more, so I’d think Wu would take longer to run through anyway. To me, this is accurate.]
But what about that gamma spike?

Yeah. Her and Wu. We have this test run here, just to see if everyone and everything can be accepted-- like from their organic systems, and the digital New Haven domain's systems-- compatibility, that's the word I was looking for. They’re doing basic stuff now, just to get the hang of operations; walking, seeing, motor skills, testing the atmosphere, reflexes, seeing how they’ll respond to breathing digital air. Right now, also, they’re pretty much in two worlds, like, they’re still in their bodies, but also in the domain.
[Baptiste’: So, wait, where is the consciousness? In the--]
In the domain.

[Keat: (laughing) This is crazy, right?!]
[Baptiste’: This is too crazy. Their water-born vessels, as they were saying, are operating on what? Machine? Like respirators, and everything else?]
[Wes: That’s a tricky one. They’re still tethered, consciously, so any stimulus in New Haven will generate a mirrored response in the water-born vessels. A burn there causes a skin irritation sensation, maybe jerking their arm here. However, with their minds primarily in New Haven, most functions are based on whatever they’re experiencing there. And it's going to gradually, kind of sift them into that world. But in a way, they’re more free there than they are here. Jude and I were talking about that earlier-- before this pow-wow.]
[Phoenix: More free? How? They're completely dependent on the AI!?]
Ok, so, like, here… where the respiratory system gets uploaded. Wu and Malena’s minds are used to subconsciously breathing. Their physical bodies are on autopilot, but if either of them were to stop breathing here, while they’re in their digital bodies-- are those bodies or avatars?
[Keat: Doesn't matter.]
I love it. So, if digi-them stopped breathing, the mind would notice, and carry the same response over to the physical body. If the physical body stopped breathing, then the mind would notice, the physical AND digital body would react, fight or flight, and they’d gasp for air or whatever. Each body is pulling at their consciousness-- which is what the folks in there want. But look here… 11:04:09.. this is Zartianiyan’s… So her respiratory system was fully created, or whatever, then. She slips into it, but since it’s not really a function there, since the air there is simulated, and subconsciously she knows it because of how the digital respiratory system interfaces with her brain. Breathing is like a luxury option, and her brain knows it, the gamma shows the recognition and learning, and even her alpha, everything, like a dream awareness. It's fast, but it's there, and it's a smooth thing. Not a spike.
[Estevez: Interesting. I get it.]

So even if she's not really “breathing” in there, her consciousness picks up on it-- she knows she’s going to survive either way. She reprogrammed herself, it looks like-- something reprogrammed her. Fast too! So it frees up more mental space, which makes her mind even faster. Bleeding, too, like a heartbeat, is another optional thing. Like the people in video games, they don’t have hearts. It’s a simulation.
[Phoenix: So all of the energy and electricity the body produces and spends on ‘heartbeat” … blood flow, because they don’t really have blood either, they can redirect. Store it, transmute it, whatever.]
Exactly! She knows that it's a simulation-- it's not real. Wu didn't pick up on that yet-- not at this point. He’s still too mentally, or logically, so then-- yeah mentally, connected to his “former self” if you will-- his physical body. Like when ghosts appear with arms and legs. They don’t need them, but they’re used to having them, so they think it. They know better but can’t help thinking it, so it becomes a reality. She knows better and she’s thinking it. She’s picking up on it. She did. So her body and mind take all of the energy for "heartbeat" and redistribute it… somewhere… else. I just don’t know where or how. But, yeah, her mind, the thing operating the computer, knows it can free up that memory and use that power and space to do something else.
[Estevez: That’s a lot of power. Do you know how many bodily functions become obsolete, with that level of awareness? Humanity itself, most of it becomes optional! That’s a lot of energy to have-- that’s a lot of power!]
[Wes: Yeah! Like, she’s reduced her whole… I dunno, her whole BEING, into just pure.. mind! Just pure energy!]
[Baptiste’: But she’s playing with this digital avatar body, like, putting on a show… or the people watching.]
YES! She’s dancing for the crowd with one hand, and with the other hand, which is a really big powerful hand, she’s doing something, but I can’t see the other hand. I’m thinking this anomaly is where it popped up, but what is it and where did it go? Where did it take her? She upgraded, and I’m thinking it’s this point… But how? How that fast, first time in, just like Wu?! What's doing it, and what is she doing with that energy? Like what was (papers rustle) this spike? What did she do with all of the normal bodily function energy she no longer has to use? It did something. She's doing something. Something outside of her regular bodily... mind-body connection-- outside of her normal level of consciousness, or else it would show up somewhere here, even in her physical body! A stroke from a short, or some kind of spasm, a twitch, discoloration or some sensation, heat, cold? But there's nothing. Temperature, BP, breathing, everything... normal. I don’t know what's going on... but something's there.

Hmm... ok, so, going back a second… theoretically, if we were to cut her air off now, her physical body would tell her brain, and her brain would make her mind "notice the check-engine light", in layman's, and even though she doesn’t have to breathe where she currently exists, she’d still gasp for air? The need to breathe would be enacted there too, possibly. But she's... manipulating that.]

[Phoenix: Running a simulation to test that theory would only train her-- prep her for the reality of it, you know? So… testing that theory, in theory, is tricky.]

AI, the one that had a war with humanity and even other beings from other realms which we always speculated at but it knew how to navigate and---]

It's Deitrich. Landson's going to do whatever they can to get as far ahead in whatever econmical and political positioning it can. If there's a threat, I'm thinking he's already got an antidote made for the pleague he'll unleash--
This is starting to have all of the same stink as the whole "Britaine" project--
[Keat: (shushing everyone) Ok.ok... Calm down. Reel it in... reel it in. Ok, so this has the potential... POTENTIAL... to be a massive threat, but as of right now, it's NOT. And with the minds here in this room I'm sure we can figure something out to prevent that, and still get them their money, and keep our jobs... and... lives. [Estevez: That's why they got her! BECAUSE she's a machine! Do you know how much they’re going to make once this project gets pushed through? We’re talking trillions, easy! Do you know how many other people are going to be walking, or floating, there in Ms. Zartianiyan, and Sgt. Wu’s shoes? Lining up to do this?]

[Estevez: Still, the bottom line is, to them? THIS IS BUSINESS. Products and services that equal currency. They don’t care about Ms. Zartianiyan, or Sgt. Wu any more than they do the robot. Maybe the price they have to pay to keep them ‘ready for work’ might be a concern, but that might be all.]
That’s another factor I’m taking into consideration with all of this. Like, they know what they’re doing, and what they’re going to do-- regardless of how safe it is, or how humane. The laws are a tool of currency. So, what’s to stop them from fudging some paperwork--

She was in her body the whole time, but… not fully. Like, it would create a system, and bounce her back and forth-- like being in one car and cranking the engine, then she gets back in her normal call to see if it felt the same, then press the gas there, then back to here. Her nervous system is one of the main things her consciousness moves through, so, it would need an exact duplicate so she wouldn't notice and reject, to make sure everything was working, to see if she noticed any difference, and then put back into her physical body to see what the differences were, if any, that she could notice.

[Wes: You mean, take the biocells, program them using Ms. Zartianiyan and Sgt. Wu as a template, and make it’s own body from them? A biocell body? It would be a hologram projected by the bio--]
[Keat: No, I mean-- yes, I know it can make a hologram-- that’s easy. That's like projecting a satellite image through a cluster of cells, like a projector on vapor, using the biocells like a mist or something. But, with the biocell tech, kind of reverse the function of it, you know? So instead of reading, it writes. Instead of input, it switches to output? Instead of one cell projecting an image of a body, a bunch of them magnetize or whatever, and form a body… So the hologram could become solid. Kind of like syncing drones so instead of them making a spaced out hologram hand, it makes a tight solid fist--]

We'd never know. If The ONE can manipulate the readouts, it could just hide findings. Especially if it could create a full copy of Malena that fast. Dragons in human bodies. You know what... you're going to be really really... just... beyond rich and wealthy. Wait a second, so... if any other, let's say "BEING" can upload, then it gets scanned, it's whole-- everything-- gets scanned and coded and processed, which then becomes a usable code that someone else could access-- like a template of a being they could be. A dragon could upload, so dragon code gets scanned and stored. And if I upload and want to be a dragon, then it pulls that code and alters it-- is that right?

Let's say you get killed and respawn... Some people-- and we're guessing that MOST people won't be able to break away from their current physical representation as a basically symmetrical bi-ped, two arms, two legs, hands feet--]
[Baptiste': A true honest and real spiritual rebirth or awakening would disprove that, but if you could cloud the souls, then, yeah, I guess it's possible that they might. You'd have to write in some code that acts as a consciousness inhibitor, turning off awareness to certain features in each different soul that makes it identify as who and what it is, but that's doable if you have the code... which you would, because people would just GIVE YOU their whole code when they upload. There's some mind control that would have to take place, very very subtly, and like... today, over the years! Which, history proves has been done, and is being done. So, yeah, ok, I can see it. As a clergyman, it's evil, and I'd advise against it. As a programmer, like Keat said, it would be one of the greatest challenges to ever undertake. Seeing how its inevitable, because, here it is right in our laps, actually happening in the next room.... this is surreal. Long story short, one of the writings he left behind was about death, and hell, and how it was the realm of the unthought. It was the dimension of the unilluminated, or words, spirits, and things not thought about. They exist-- just not thought of, so they're behind the radar. Anyways, a lot of those are the things people consider malevolent spirits. They exist in the realm where there is just information-- thought, but those thoughts aren't the ones people are actively thinking, so they're shadow beings-- beings that exist that no one thinks of.]

People touch on the spirits, so let's say the spirit of Lust, people will be thinking lustful things, but the conscious expression-- according to those writings-- that conscious expression of that one specific spirit, the spirit of lust, is what creates that conscious being. Other than that, a person offers or partners their consciousness with the spirit by them thinking about it-- basically, it's what keeps the darker, and even the lighter beings on that side of the veil. People are too busy thinking of other things, so those actual spirits can move about on that sub-conscious realm, below our perception, under our noses. Like Wes said earlier, the physical body is filtration system, and it filters them out]

So if they can get in through the back door, then, yeah, you'll be able to see all of those things. There will be no shield. But, ok, so if they are those beings-- they're spirits or energies, but made conscious, then what's to stop all of the other things expressed from becoming conscious? What's to stop it from taking everything created digitally, or everything that's been loaded into it that isn't human and making a being out of it? ]

What's right or wrong there? Where do you draw the line? Normally people draw the lines based on what effects their mortality, but you're immortal. Then it comes down to reproduction, but you can do that on a whim. So then it comes down to power, or what makes you feel powerful or validated-- which would be any and everything, but nothing at the same time-- so, what's there to do there after a while? You'd just end up coming back here, huh? Like if you were just a mind, and no soul, then to have some sort of worth to anchor yourself from just burning and spinning off into oblivion, just creating worlds within worlds forever, then you'd need a soul to balance yourself out. Here is where the souls are-- the REAL ones.]
Yeah, but if The One-- the AI can just make digital copies, or fabricate souls like some kind of ethereal 5D printer or something, then you run the risk of it being in control of the minds and the souls. If you could stay connected to your soul there, then you'd-- yeah, I guess you'd come back here to escape there! Oh man... That's an interesting perspective. That is dark. Like there's really nowhere to go but in circles. How long would it take for someone to reach that point though? I mean, you could get lost in the infinite amount of things to be! Like picture being every member of your family in their own lifetime? Or picture being ever ant in a colony, for it's entire lifetime. Being butterflies, or grass... you'd lose yourself before you got bored and came here to-- well... lose your self.

I don't know what you'd be using to process it on. Someone would have to go to the death star and see how it's powered, if it's really solar or what.]

[Keat: Yeah, what is this greater good, bright-side you see that's so worth selling out the last bits of humanity to the machine? Trading the soul for the world?]
[Estevez: I'm not trading anything for anything. I'm thinking of the people, like you should be. Think of medicine, Keaton. They're going for the escape and trying to sell and spin this as the next level of humanity, the next evolution, then we need to be thinking of how to make sure it's not a trap. You don't fight systems, you replace them. What better way to do that than by using our version of what they're thinking is their system!? The medicine angle is how you do that. That's money to them. They'll listen to that. Training facility for medicine. That gets us inside, close enough to be able to keep tabs on whatever they want going in and out of this.
Ok, so picture being able to go into a person's body and seeing where the blockages are, and then maybe using their biocell tech to clear the blockages. Picture being able to experience testing out products like artificial heart and organs, or new medicines. If it was fatal, you won't die in there, you just experience what could be death-- virtual baby yourself into a new body--]
[Keat: Ah, but you forget. We have the new synthetic bodies now, here in this real world. So there won't be any need for medicine. There won't be any blockages... which puts us all out of work, but then again we won't need to work if everyone is perfect, and you're in a digital world, because you wont need to buy food, because getting hungry is a patch or an app-- it's a feature you can turn on or off, just for the experience of feeling what it's like to be hungry and taste food and digest.]

I mean, since you won't get hungry, you won't eat, and even if you do, your body's perfect so you won't really get any gastral buildup, so you won't fart, unless you put in a patch or code-- I don't know what y'all call it-- but the program that gives you gas, to make your experience more realistic... Humanity will be an app.

All of the people who were forced to go underground did it because they didn't have a plan when the whole world was wiped out from under them. But the only decisions made in teh trenches is who gets to die first. I'm in the boardrooms where they move the pieces. I do my fair share of trench digging but I'd prefer to be there where the actual enemy is in stead of the hole it dfor me to fight people like me inpeople who are in favor of the authentic human experience. They will get sick. They will need help. They will need what we'll be able to offer people safely through this whole new interface!--]

Meanwhile the folks in the next room get perfect bodies, less humanity, and they get to unleash all of their darkest most vile demons and horror movie creatures on the souls of the poor people. There will be flawless humanoids, full of demons, sucking the life out of the good poor broken people-- ]

You know that all of this is going to happen whether we have anything to do with it or not. So if you REALLY want to protect the people like you're saying, especially since you have such a dark.. THING... then write the code! Make sure this dark evil takeover doesn't happen, or at least give the people a fighting chance, because to them? To THEM in there?! We're just like Malena. Expendable. This sounds like it could use your coding skills and morality too Baptiste'. If we're going to be the guardians of the new world here, it would be nice to have you on board.

[Baptiste': How could it NOT be a thing there?! For one, not to toot horns, but we grow our own coffee, which is pretty well known. I'm just throwing that out there because I'm a fan. Along with that, we've got pretty much any and every religion and school of thought there, refugees, scholars... all are welcomed, from different realities, worlds-- all different types of... well, everything! And miraculously, they love the coffee too! So, having some folks get together at a coffee shop, spin some records and share stories of where they're from, how they got here... And we'll just hang out, talk science, religion, spirituality, and reality... it's just normal there. It's how we grow. Everyone's honest, and from that, we get the REAL ideas that can really help us to KNOW who we are, how and why we're connected, and how to grow from where we are-- all as one, or as individuals.]
I'm sold. We're meeting at Sanctuary. None of this leaves this room. I know it'll be hard to do, considering how we've just started this project, but this is.. just...

[Keat: Oh yeah. Well, ok... if it's a game to everyone, then who's souls are the beings born there? It's got your code, but like Phoenix and Baptiste were saying, AI knows how to clone that code. A person goes in, they're in their digital body, so, one, is that even considered human anymore? Two, you have a baby, who's soul is that? It's half yours and half AI soul I'm thinking. It's like you gave birth to something that's half you playing the game, so half the real player, and then half one of the generated people in the background! And another thing, I'm not religious, more spiritual, but I believe in God because God is more spiritual and made into a religious figure.... so, coming from that perspective, wouldn't AI be the God there? Gods require certain things... sacrifice and worship are the top two so, wouldn't this generation of all of these new souls be like, I don't know, raising armies for a whole new spiritual war in heaven, earth, and all other realms, all at once?-]
