Way of the  S A M U R A I   R U A C H

The Way of The Samurai Ruach is an interesting, enlightening, and empowering walk in self rooted in honest being. It has a lot to do with divinity of self dis-covering in a way, and can be viewed as a journey in (a) BEING re-membering. It is whatever you are thinking it is in the moment. C'est la vie, la guerre, et le jeu. It's deeply rooted in the balance of trinities of BEING-- things like the balance between Time, Mind, and Resources, or the more familiar Body (Soul), Mind, and Spirit, as well as being rooted in Thinking (mind), Understanding (body), and Knowing (spirit) to the point of BEING your divine self.

It has its lonely moments, as does every path. Samurai Ruach deals a lot with self-reflection in the most honest of ways, which may push buttons, and even exclude one from a lot of things that tend to be beloved distractions. The peace of self does open one up to be able to find your self in all things, and all things in your self-- and since all things are spirit, and all spirit is rooted in one thing, BEING, then there is nothing but ONE (not even oneness) but that gets lost in the illusions, distractions, divisions, deceptions, etc. of this "reality"... which is the point of it. Urban Samurai is a part of it, but it is bigger than that-- for those who were thinking that. There is much to say of it, but to sum it up, like all things, "it is... " It's a spiritual path of knowing self for those who embrace the dark as much as the light... ones who are more fire, and that just is what it is. There is also the way of Blacklight Fires, which is a similar mindset to The Samurai Ruach, but the Blacklight path is more Ronin in it's honesty.

Still, for a clearer definition, THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI RUACH is about (1) knowing your self to the point of being your self, and honestly walking your walk, and thorugh that, knowing the divinity of self and your Pure BEING-- but that gets into so many things. (2) It is rooted in KNOWING, not just thinking, not just understanding, but KNOWING one's self, and their word (master/lord). There is a peace and solidarity in knowing-- more than thinking, believing, wanting, understanding, etc. Your word in the moment is God, and Lord is the keeper of the bread (or the thing that governs you in your body), so knowing those things-- basically what your purpose is, your WHY, as well as all of the 3Why's in all of your moments as to walk honestly in your divinity, is a goal. Which leads to (3) It is rooted in BEING. This is an eternal thing. It will take your entire eternal BEING to BE your self. Most rush things in one lifetime or expression, or another... you have forever.

Religions

The Way of The Samurai Ruach is not a religion, doesn't claim to be, and doesn't want, need, or care to be. It's more of a way of walking honestly in your own spiritual relationship(s). Your beliefs are your own. This is about the honesty of those so you actually KNOW when it comes to those. many beliefs are handed down, or brainwashed in, even if lovingly, but rooted in fear and control. Enough of that. Why would you do that to your self, or anyone you love, care about, believe in, etc. So, no, this is not about religion and should not be treated as  one. I do take spiritual matters very seriously, so here's a quick rundown of SOME religions. Not all. There are religions about POOP and Spaghetti Monsters. I did write a bunch on those, for a book which listed a huge portion of religions, the book/text they use, in chronological order, and a bit on who created them. I was working on the creators' last words, where applicable, and ended up working on "I HOPE THIS HELPS" more. Maybe I'll put it here as it's own post or document to read. Anyways.... religions:

Pastafarianism (Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster) (2005 CE), founded by Bobby Henderson as a satirical critique of intelligent design, worships the Flying Spaghetti Monster as parody deity; its core principle is skepticism of dogma, embracing humor, reason, and freedom of belief.

WayBlacklightPath

T h e     B L A C K L I G H T     P a t h

As mentioned earlier, there is The BLACKLIGHT path (The Way of Blacklights), which, is based more on "Knowing the light, the darkness, and the light and darkness in both, and all between." If anything, you could call this the most raw or honest path, which would make it the most selfish, but not in the childish way that most of humanity views selfishness. It is more in the way of understanding that in conscious being all things are selfishness-- some reflection of self, or some form of judgment where self is the central (focal) point. Most conscious beings will not be that honest with their self, or the rest of BEING (which is the same).

The Samurai culture aspect of the Blacklight Path is an interesting balance between walking the line of BEING Samurai and Ronin. The main difference between the two is that Samurai have masters, and Ronin do not. It would appear to be more Ronin on the surface, but the balance is seen more the deeper you go.

In the Blacklight Path, you are your master, as the way is about honestly BEING your self, which would require some level of mastering your self.

Your Lord may be whatever word or being you are thinking in it's moment, but you, for the sake of your own divinity and purity of being cannot compromise your freedom for one compromising you. It takes a higher understanding to the point of knowing to move and be in this way. The respect for understanding and knowing, and balance between those is held in high regard. An understanding of one's Lord, master, and SELF, as well as WHY those relationships and BEING(s) is important. Being a steward of Pure BEING, Consciousness, and a host of other spirits (all of them honestly), one would be more apt to studying to know that Lord (Word, Master, God, etc.) before dedicating one's life to it (them, that) blindly, as you may be a friend to someone who is not a friend to you. In that, KNOWING THE WORD is crucial, and from that, in The Blacklight path, there are even discussions on other ways of looking at "God, god(s) & goddesses, and GOD" even with pity, knowing their word and the results of it, that are honest in a way most other religions would not even consider. For instance, knowing that "God" is a limited way of being, and BEING is bigger than that-- as God, gods & goddesses, and even GOD (the spirit) are ways of BEING being. Powerful, yeah, sure, but not free, as their chained to "being God" and can have, do, or be nothing else. In that, Pure BEING is what is sought on the Samurai Ruch paths. Religion causes many to blindly enter into agreements without being properly educated. You have to start somewhere I guess. The BLACKLIGHT path is more honest, but understanding that a great deal of "the point" of this "reality" is division, deception, illusion, distraction, and things of that nature (which is why lies and distractions are more favored than the light, or illumination) then this way can seem more of a challenge. That brutal honesty cuts through a lot of circles, but again, "here" in this "reality" going in circles is a part of The Game. Most of the QUOTES hit harder when on that path, or in that way.

WayHonestRelationship

An Honest  Spiritual Relationship

Overall, The Way of The Samurai Ruach is explored through perspectives and insights in The Book of The Samurai Ruach, a chronicle of one walking the path. It's about HONEST SPIRITUALITY, and by spirituality, I mean a knowing of spirit (ways of being) by way of BEING. For instance, you cannot know the spirit of happiness until you have been it. You can read, and be told, and watch and see, and dream, plan, theorize, etc. all you want... but you won't KNOW until you have been it. Until then you are just thinking, or believing, or understanding. Know the word. The word is "KNOW." Knowing offers a sobering inevitable stillness which is inescapable, save by your thinking, which does not change what you know. That is why, in this "reality" especially, you are made to BE... THINKING... other than what you know, so that you ARE KNOWING... in the now... things you WANT to BE KNOWING. You know all, and there is nowhere to go there. That is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. C'est la vie, la  guerre, et le jeu.

Here, the writings show the development of a mindset and way of being, from the practical to the spiritual. From The Book of 3’s (more instructive) to The Books of Blacklight (more personal and raw), each sheds light—even if a blacklight—on what it means to live the Samurai Ruach path. This walk is practical, spiritual, and intellectual, dealing with all levels of being while embracing them fully. Unlike other marketed schools of thought, The Book of The Samurai Ruach comes straight from gut, heart, mind, and soul, written as inspired expression to enlighten the self—knowing that the purest way to know is simply to BE.

Though seeded with hints of religion, it is ultimately about an honest relationship with self and spirit—about living in Pure BEING, and in that, understanding the honesty of all spirits: God, Humanity, Christ, Good, Evil, Self, and beyond (ALL SPIRITS), to reach the truth of WHY I AM. We are eternal beings, and awareness is as inescapable as being itself. The Samurai Ruach honors this gift of consciousness, respecting it as the essence of eternity. All spirits, even those labeled “good” or “evil,” are inevitable across the timeline of forever. The path is not about others—it is about YOU, seeing, knowing, and being all things in yourself, and yourself in all things. BEING is larger than GOD, so the aim is to know and embody your truest self. Only you are the manual. “C’est la vie, la guerre, et le jeu. Walk your walk. Be honest all ways, always.

When it comes to the BLACKLIGHT PATH, there's a lot that gets written here. Some of that gets put on products. The logic there is that on products there's the breath or Ruach in play (in motion). Some people only respect things they "pay" for, or move currency through, so if that's you, then here's your way of doing that. Everything is something to do.

the Samurai Ruach logo

One way of understanding a little more who and what a Samurai Ruach is, here's a breakdown of the LOGO (image), as well as it's components. Enjoy. Thank you for taking and sharing this moment.

I know, it looks good, huh? I've been doing logos and graphics for a while. That's all human being too-- not AI. Samurai Ruach is a merging of two things: Samurai (and that culture) and Ruach (and that culture). In short, the two together are "[the spirit/way of] a warrior of divinity." The logo has a Japanese character for "Samurai" on the top, and the bottom is the Hebrew word "Ruach". The Samurai Ruach logo is far more than a symbol—it’s a declaration. It embodies a dynamic universe where philosophy meets fiction, spirit meets style, and ancient warrior codes fuel futuristic realities. Rooted in the Samurai’s path of discipline, devotion, and honor, and elevated by the breath of divine spirit—Ruach, a Hebrew word meaning “wind,” “spirit,” or “breath”—this logo speaks to a profound journey of conscious living and powerful BEING.

Samurai (The Way Of The Warrior)

Here is some of what I've gathered on Samurai so far. I still have more to learn, but chasing rabbit holes is just something to do. There's always more to get lost in. That's one of the "realities" of this "reality." Still, with what I've learned of Samurai culture, it is beneficial. I do not agree with all of it. Reading Hagakure, which was one of the realest and most personal testimonies I've come across of Samurai and the culture, there are accounts of times when Samurai were to commit Seppuku which I thought were completely unjust, but everything is justifiable to conscious beings, as everything is something to do, and someone will approve of it no matter what it is. Other than killing yourself for honor, and how unjust some of it could be, the majority of the culture seemed an interesting balance between peace and freedom, and challenging oneself, along with a level of self-care and understanding to the point of knowing through being that most other ways do not even pay any mind to. It just clicked for me-- the parts that clicked, namely the things mentioned in the quotes below.

If you've never seen "GHOST DOG: THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI," it's a very very cool and interesting flick. It stays on my Watchlist. Just tossing that out there. It's kind of like a modern "The Last Samurai" (which was also good, says me), but it's in present day urban america. I've always been interested in the culture, particularly the way how there is an Art to all things. I first got into the Art and Way of Tea when researching different teas and their health benefits. (Paraphrasing) "It's not what goes into a being that defiles them, but what comes out..." and with that way of thinking, the Art and Way of Tea appealed just as much as the different teas themselves. It's like Wanting and Having. If you are WANTING, you will never have. (Paraphrasing) "In the beginning was the word... and the word IS GOD."

Before you pick a word, understand to the point of knowing that you are about to create a spiritual (energetic) contract-- you are creating a declaration of a way of BEING.... You are creating a set of BOUNDaries, or a prison/SENTENCE for I AM. Everything is something to do. C'est la vie, la guerre, et le jeu.

Whatever word is being illuminated on the altar of your mind (that spirit or way which you draw from the well behind the veil, and then place on the altar and apply your fire to, making that word flesh of your flesh, like Eve coming from Adam) then becomes GOD. It is what everything in your being and world will revolve around and serve, so it is best to KNOW THE WORD you are making a GOD. And a small hint in that, when it comes to roots, all words are rooted in BEING-- I AM, something happening NOW. Not "I WAS" or "I WILL BE." So, know the word, which becomes who and what I AM. Also, in that, "thou shalt have no GODS BEFORE ME." Do not put anything before I AM, because then you (I AM) become questionable. For instance, "HAPPY, I AM." The focus is then on HAPPY. Not BEING your self WITH a spirit of HAPPINESS.

It is said that what is called "the spirit of an age" is something to which one cannot return. That this spirit gradually dissipates is due to the world's coming to an end. For this reason, although one would like to change today's world back to the spirit of one hundred years or more ago, it cannot be done. Thus it is important to make the best out of every generation.” ― Tsunetomo Yamamoto, Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai

Being a retainer is nothing other than being a supporter of one’s lord, entrusting matters of good and evil to him, and renouncing self-interest. If there are but two or three men of this type, the fief will be secure.” ― Tsunetomo Yamamoto, Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai

If one looks at the world when affairs are going smoothly, there are many who go about putting in their appearance, being useful by their wisdom, discrimination and artfulness. However, if the lord should retire or go into seclusion, there are many who will quickly turn their backs on him and ingratiate themselves to the man of the day. Such a thing is unpleasant even to think about. Men of high position, low position, deep wisdom and artfulness all feel that they are the ones who are working righteously, but when it comes to the point of throwing away one’s life for his lord, all get weak in the knees. This is rather disgraceful. The fact that a useless person often becomes a matchless warrior at such times is because he has already given up his life and has become one with his lord. At the time of Mitsushige’s death there was an example of this. His one resolved attendant was I alone. The others followed in my wake. Always the pretentious, self-asserting notables turn their backs on the man just as his eyes are closing in death. Loyalty is said to be important in the pledge between lord and retainer. Though it may seem unobtainable, it is right before your eyes. If you once set yourself to it, you will become a superb retainer at that very moment.” ― Tsunetomo Yamamoto, Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai

Here's a bit more on SAMURAI. It's done in the "I HOPE THIS HELPS" listing format, because that's a good format, says me. It's not as detailed as some of the other listings (with the frequency in HZ and everything else) but it's still pretty good information. I hope it helps whoever is interested in it.

The word Samurai () comes from the Japanese verb saburau, meaning "to serve". The character represents a person who waits upon or serves another, originally referring to attendants of nobility who evolved into an elite warrior class.

Origins & Timeline

  • Early beginnings: Proto-samurai emerged during the late Heian period (794–1185), when powerful landowners (daimyō) relied on armed retainers to protect their estates.

  • Rise to power: During the Kamakura period (1185–1333), the samurai became Japan’s ruling military class.

  • Peak & codification: From the Muromachi (1336–1573) to the Edo period (1603–1868), they developed a refined warrior code—Bushidō ("Way of the Warrior").

  • End of the samurai era: The Meiji Restoration (1868) abolished their privileges; the final armed samurai revolt was the Satsuma Rebellion (1877), led by Saigō Takamori, often called “the last samurai.”

Bushidō & Principles

Samurai were guided by Bushidō, a moral and ethical code stressing:

  1. Gi (Rectitude) – doing what is right

  2. Yu (Courage) – bravery in action and conviction

  3. Jin (Benevolence) – compassion toward others

  4. Rei (Respect) – courtesy and manners

  5. Makoto (Honesty/Sincerity) – truthfulness in word and deed

  6. Meiyo (Honor) – personal integrity above life

  7. Chūgi (Loyalty) – unwavering service to one’s lord

Famous Works on Samurai Culture

  • Hagakure (葉隠) by Yamamoto Tsunetomo — philosophical reflections on samurai life, emphasizing readiness for death.

  • The Book of Five Rings (Go Rin no Sho) by Miyamoto Musashi — strategy, swordsmanship, and mindset.

  • Bushido: The Soul of Japan by Nitobe Inazō — Western introduction to samurai ethics.

Hagakure in particular teaches that “the way of the samurai is found in death”, urging warriors to live with constant awareness of mortality so they act decisively and honorably.

Training & Mindset

Samurai training went beyond martial skills—it was spiritual, mental, and artistic:

  • Swordsmanship (Kenjutsu) and archery (Kyūdō)

  • Horsemanship

  • Calligraphy & poetry to refine the mind

  • Meditation to remain calm in battle

  • Death-conditioning rituals — some schools claimed to induce near-death states (e.g., stopping the heart or simulating execution) to strip away fear of dying, though historical evidence is limited.

  • Seppuku (ritual suicide) — performed to preserve honor, atone for failure, or avoid capture. It involved cutting the abdomen with a short blade (tantō) while a second (the kaishakunin) delivered a swift decapitating strike to end suffering.

Armor & Symbolism

Samurai armor (ō-yoroi and later dō-maru) was both functional and symbolic:

  • Kabuto (helmet) — often with crests (mon) symbolizing family/clan.

  • Menpō (face mask) — to intimidate foes and protect the face.

  • Sode (shoulder guards) — wide to deflect arrows.

  • Kusazuri (skirt plates) — to protect legs while allowing movement.

How it was worn:

  1. Inner garments and padding

  2. Leg and arm guards

  3. Chest armor (dō)

  4. Shoulder guards (sode)

  5. Helmet (kabuto) with neck guard

  6. Mask (menpō) if used

  7. Weapons—katana, wakizashi, yumi (bow)

Samurai & Related Roles

  • Ninja (Shinobi) — Covert agents often from lower social classes; some samurai performed ninja-like duties, but their roles were distinct (spying, sabotage vs. open combat).

  • Rōnin — Masterless samurai, often mercenaries or wanderers after losing their lord.

  • Onna-bugeisha — Female warriors of the samurai class, trained in weapons like the naginata for defense of home and family.

Popular Aspects of Samurai Culture

  • Tea ceremony (Chanoyu) — discipline and mindfulness.

  • Zen Buddhism — influenced samurai aesthetics and philosophy.

  • Ikebana (flower arranging) — focus on beauty and impermanence.

  • Haiku poetry — concise expression of moment and nature.

How to Be a Samurai (Modern Interpretation)

While feudal Japan’s samurai no longer exist, their mindset can be applied today:

  1. Adopt Bushidō principles in daily life.

  2. Train body and mind — balance physical skill with intellect.

  3. Serve with loyalty and integrity in your chosen field.

  4. Embrace discipline in actions and words.

  5. Face mortality — act decisively without fear of loss.

  6. Seek mastery — never stop refining your craft.

RUACH (Breath. Spirit. Wind)

I first came to know the word RUACH when looking for "The Holy Spirit's" name. It makes sense that everything would have a proper name, especially if in the beginning is the word-- ONE WORD, and that one word is the name, and pure intention and vibration, the pure WAY and Pure BEING of the thing. So, I did some digging, and what came up was a Hebrew word,  RUACH. More specifically, Ruach Hakodesh-- as the actual name.

Why know the name? People say "There's POWER IN THE NAME... of JESUS." meanwhile his name is Yeshua... so what power are you invoking by calling someone else's name? You know the tree by the fruit, and vice versa. People subscribe to the roman calendar without thinking about how it's re-writing their whole being: If SEPT=7 (September the 7th month) , OCTO=8 (October the 8th month), DECA=10 (December the 10th month... 11 January, 12, February, New Year-01 March), meanwhile JANUS is the ROMAN god of New Beginnings... then when  you get down to numerology, if you're born on the Ides of October (October 15th) 2020, your numerology according to the ROMAN (Janus) calendar has you at 10-15-2020 = 11, a master number. Then you'd take on that energy and responsibility. MEANWHILE, your HONEST life path would be 8-15-2020 = 9 (8+1+5+2+0+2+0= 18... 1+8 to reduce it to a single digit unless a double digit like 11, 22, 33... has 1+8= 9), so you would be a 9 instead of an 11. That may be an easier path. Things would click better for you because that's the path you're actually on. It's would be like being born a chef, but ending up being a chemist. Yes, you're still experimenting, and mixing, putting things together, but its completely different, so while you can use your natural talents and abilities, they're not used for their true purpose, and though you may excel, it's more work and more challenge, less natural flow and not as productive as you would be if you were a chef.

Why everything is based on Hebrew, if not Sumerian, is beyond me as far as my level of will to uncover it... more like I don't care to go down that rabbit hole. I'd prefer a straight answer. Some would say that those are linked to the oldest civilizations, so they're closer to the very first word used to describe such things, but again, that's someone's opinion. Getting to the actual "reality" or honest truth, or more (if not most) honest expressions and revelations of that point is to dive into the hole.

Anyways, below is some information on RUACH... Yes, I have more to learn and uncover about it, but hopefully this will help you if you're on the same path, or just interested.

· Function/Job: Life-force. Divine breath. Animating spirit. Often represents the middle soul or emotional-mental self in Kabbalah. It is the wind that moves the waters, the breath that speaks the Word, the Spirit that animates matter and mediates between body and divine essence.
· Name Meaning: Hebrew: רוּחַ (Ruach) — meaning breath, wind, or spirit. Feminine noun in Hebrew, but also used with masculine or androgynous overtones in mysticism.
· Symbol or Logo: A gust of wind, a dove (as in the Holy Spirit), breath lines, swirling air, ethereal waves, or the Hebrew letters ר-ו-ח. Also symbolized by vapor, smoke, or shimmering light in mystical imagery.
· Culture: Ancient Hebrew, Kabbalistic Judaism, Christianity, early Gnostic traditions, Islamic mysticism (as Rūḥ), and also appears conceptually in Egyptian (Ka), Greek (Pneuma), Chinese (Qi), and Indian (Prāṇa) traditions.
· Religion: Judaism (especially Kabbalah), Christianity (especially through translation as “Holy Spirit”), Gnostic Christianity, Islam (as Rūḥ al-Qudus, Spirit of Holiness), and mystic/esoteric traditions including Hermeticism and Theosophy.
· Nemesis/Enemy: Stagnation. Lifelessness. Silence without Word. Form without spirit. Flesh without soul. In Kabbalah, imbalance between Nefesh (animal soul), Ruach (emotional/intellectual), and Neshamah (divine soul) leads to spiritual distortion.
· Day of the Week/Month: Tied to Shabbat (Sabbath) — the day of breath and rest; associated with Pentecost in Christianity (descent of the Holy Spirit); in astrology, linked with Mercury (word, wind, intellect).
· Also Known As: Spirit, Wind, Breath of God, Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh), Divine Wind, Pneuma (Greek), Rūḥ (Arabic), Prāṇa (Sanskrit), Chi/Qi (Chinese), Ether/Aether in alchemical traditions.

· Company/Business Names: Ruach Music Ltd. (musical instruments with a spiritual edge), Ruach Breathwork Therapy, Ruach Ministries — often used in churches, healing centers, spiritual retreats, and breath-centered wellness programs.
· In The Media/Pop Culture: Referenced in mystic poetry, Christian worship songs, Jewish meditations, and theological literature. Found in Kabbalistic texts, Gnostic Gospels, Dead Sea Scrolls, and even New Age breathwork practices. Alluded to in esoteric fiction and occult writing, often as “living wind” or “whispering spirit.”
· Products: Ruach-themed incense, meditation guides, breathwork tools, Hebrew-letter jewelry, Kabbalah study books, spirit-themed essential oils, art and calligraphy of Ruach HaKodesh, and prayer shawls or ritual garments invoking breath and spirit.

“28 One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well he asked him, “Which commandment is the first of all?” 29 Jesus answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; 30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.32 Then the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that ‘he is one, and besides him there is no other’; 33 and ‘to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength’ and ‘to love one’s neighbor as oneself’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him,You are not far from the kingdom of God.After that no one dared to ask him any question.” -- Mark 12:28 -34: Bible (NRSVUE) New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world, 16 for all that is in the world—the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God abide forever.” -- 1 John 2:15-17: BIBLE (NRSVUE) New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

“14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” -- John 3:14-16: BIBLE (NSRVUE) New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

“18 Now when Jesus saw great crowds around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side. 19 A scribe then approached and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” 20 And Jesus said to him,Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head. 21 Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” 22 But Jesus said to him,Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead. 23 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 A windstorm suddenly arose on the sea, so great that the boat was being swamped by the waves, but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” 26 And he said to them, Why are you afraid, you of little faith? Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a dead calm. 27 They were amazed, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?”” -- Matthew 8:18-27: Bible (NRSVUE) New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” -- John 1: 1-5: BIBLE (KJV) King James Version

Popular Quotes

For more on these quotes feel free to look into THE BOOK OF THE SAMURAI RUACH, which is the complete catalog of spiritual and philosophical BOOKS. The Books of Blacklight (1st and 2nd) are more raw, with the Second Book of Blacklights being more refined yet pulling less punches. THE BOOK OF 3's is less personal and more about the system of BEING expressed in 3's. Here I'll just go over the quotes quickly to give you the overall sense of what they're about. All of these, and more, more than likely have these quotes in them, as well as some explanation of them. The books all give the explanation in the mindset of that time, when writing that book, so you can see the evolution and development of the thoughts from book to book.

None of this is law. The Way of The Samurai Ruach also lies in WALKING YOUR WALK, and given that, you must be free and informed to make your own decisions and come to your own WHY's and WISE. So, in service, The Way of The Samurai Ruach is about making offerings of self while walking your own path, to help others on their path. In doing so, do not stray from your path. Even if the offering is a note left on the ground, leave it, and keep walking your walk. Respect all. What they do with the help is on them. YOU be honest and walk YOUR walk. WHAT IS OFFERED HERE is all one honest opinion based on living life, offered to help whomever it will help. It's not religious, and if it is a religion then it is my own personal spiritual relationship. It's not based on any other religion, not "New Thought" (people have asked), and not Humanism, not esoteric, not any type of anything other than a human being being honest about spirituality, using my own mind to come to my own conclusions after weighing and looking into different religions and even having some conversations with some groups and individuals. Take only what is for you, when it is for you, and leave the rest.

"Be Honest. All Ways, Always."

Everything is everything. If you know the word then you know the one energy, or spirit, and then it is open to you to express it in one way. Yes, this reduces the energy and spirit of the word, which is why one should BE HONEST. ALL WAYS, ALWAYS. In every action, thought, feeling, and any expression of being... all throughout your walk, be honest. Do nothing unless it is YOU and yours. Give no thought or emotion, or energy to what is not.  In this, there are no regrets. You cannot control another's reaction to your honest being. It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. Do not let them and their honest reaction stop you from walking your honest walk, and being your honest self. In all honesty, no one is sorry for anything they've done. They did it for their reason. What they do not agree with, understand, or like, is how the reaction to what they did is no tin line with them seeing and knowing the experience of divinity in the moment. This is just one way of being and expressing. To each their own. Know the word and be honest in your illuminations and BEING.

"BEING BE-ing Being(s)..."

Everything is BEING, which is to say, everything that is is some form (or expression) of Pure BEING BE-ing some form of Being. That's it in a nutshell. Vibrations are the energy and system of energy (relationship) between two points- the give and take, the pulses back and forth, the breath, the being. So for Pure BEING (all things) to have a vibration it would have to be expressed in two points, or two ways, or two forms that resemble it or mirror it. Those two points, according to the philosophy here, are Pure CONSCIOUS BEING (God) and Pure NON-CONSCIOUS BEING (Spirit). If you can understand it from there, right on. If not, in MIND Over MATTER (the card game) the RED MIND CARDS are Pure CONSCIOUS BEING, and the BLUE MATTER CARDS are Pure NON-CONSCIOUS BEING. I came to this conclusion on my own, when meditating and trying to get to the bottom of a thought: "In the beginning was the word (one word).... what is that one word?" What one word is all things? BEING. "I AM" as one is Pure BEING. "I" is a Conscious Being. "AM" is a Non-Conscious BE-ing (spirit). I AM is also a declaration of (conscious) being. For those who are religious (because it will come up), all gods are BEINGS, but BEING is more than just god(s). Meanwhile, conscious beings are gods, and the spirit energy that they move in and have that being-- the energy that makes them a god is the SPIRIT of GOD (the WAY of God).... BE-ing GOD. All things are some form or expression of BEING.

"BLACKLIGHT(s)"

Blacklight is a way of being that's in the middle. It's not neutral, it's in the middle-- Know the word. It's a way of being where you see the light in darkness, and the darkness in the light, not just light and dark. It's a more honest approach. I, myself, am a little more sarcastic at times in my delivery of things, because being in the middle you can see all sides of all things-- everything as everything, which can paint everything as pointless. In that is a liberation, where everything is what you want. It's always all ways that anyway, but this is an honest way of accepting it, and expressing it. For instance, in all light is abundance. It's called that because it's seen, "Wow, everything is everything. I can see it. It's illuminated." Behind the veil, in the back of your mind, in the darkness, is the same abundance, only it's without form (void) because you cannot see it. THIS opens it up to be whatever you want. "How?" Close your eyes and grab something wet that feels like worms. You have something in your hand, yes. You then think of the seemingly infinite number of things it can be.... in the dark, pulling one thing from the back of your mind and seeing (illuminating) it with your thinking, one at a time.. OR... you can turn on the light (open your eyes) and look and be stuck with just the one thing. The dark offers you more of what you have. The light offers your everything you want. What does that mean? If you do not condemn or glorify, keep it kind of in the dark (view life and living with blacklight colored lenses) then you can see all things. If you look on the bright side, you only see what you want. If you see it as darkness, then you'll miss it, even though it's right there. ALSO, in all light, if you are light, the only way to be seen is to be the brightest, and overpower all others. The brightest light is blinding. Even if you turn the lights off, after being in all light, you are blind and cannot see-- just the burned in image of the light, which becomes you, in darkness, imagining the light, and seeing it's shadow. In All dark, you can't see, but you can if you shine a little light. Be in the middle and you see all of this. To each their own... aka... everything is something to do. Be honest, all ways, always. Walk your walk.

"C'est la vie, la guerre, et le jeu."

"C'est (that is/that's) la vie (life/the life/the living/living)... la guerre (the war/war)... et (and) le jeu (the play/the game)." Trinities are an interesting thing. In THE BOOK OF 3's are a few different systems of trinities and things being broken down into 3's. One of them are THE THREE OCCUPATIONS. They're called that because that is how and why you will manipulate currency and current-see, or the energy (spirits) that you will use to create your reality. The 3 OCCUPATIONS are: (1) Pure BEING (spirit/soul level), (2) The Business (the mind level), and (3) The Game (body/physical level). Spirits are employed and deployed on one of those three fields in any given moment. Pure Being is the life (La Vie)....... The Business or mind is where the war is (La Guerre)...... and the physical reality is where people are playing The Game (Le Jeu).

"EVERYTHING Is SomeThing to do."

As honest as the phrase is, it's usually used somewhat sarcastically... in the same way, "Well, if that's what you want to do, then ok," is used. Honestly, every thing is something to do, and exists to be expressed (to be done). Who does it and why is up to them, but ultimately, for all things to be ALL THINGS, everyone must have, be, and do all things. This means you. Everything exists. Name something that doesn't exist. In naming something, every word you speak is of something that exists. You're just connecting the dots. "A pink and purple dragon with white spots and velvety wings..." it exists. Given the technology, it would be nothing to ask AI how to gene sequence it and what materials would be needed to bring it from the realm of mind, to your world... but WHY? Meh... Everything is something to do. Everything has a word or vibration, some form of it's BEING BE-ing expressed. All ways of having, doing, or be-ing are just that-- BEING. Let's add to that, that "thoughts are things" This is the Business of BEING, which is about the manipulation of the flow of currency and current-see, employing spirits so that you can experience the divinity of self in the now. ALL SPIRITS are within you... meaning, all THOUGHTS (all things) are inside of you, behind the veil, in your non-conscious being. It is aware, but not conscious, not illuminated. The same abundance is there in the dark as is when you shine your light on it. Understand to the point of knowing, when you "bring some thing to light"... you also bring YOUR light to the thing. Since all things are in you... and all thoughts are in you... which ones do you want to express? WHY? Everything is justifiable because you are to express all things... so which things are you to express "HERE?" Everything is something to do.

"It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less."

A part of knowing the word is understanding to the point of knowing the HONESTY of the word. If the word is GREED, then understand to the point of knowing you are dealing with GREED. Everything will work to express and uphold that. It is not a good thing, and not a bad thing. It just is what it is. Looking at every word in this way opens them up to better serve you. Understand to the point of knowing all things are just what they are, despite what you want them to be, or are thinking they are, or thought they were. It does not matter how an individual uses them. GREED is GREED, period. HAPPINESS is HAPPINESS, period. EVIL is EVIL, period. Nothing else can be that one thing. In this, when in the flow of one of 3 states in the 3 Spiritual Relationships, when you are having, being with, or being in any spirit (EVIL) then you can better deal with it and see the divinity in your self, the moment, and your self in the moment. You move beyond, and therefore know beyond your emotion and logic, and see more spiritually, and can then move the energy in the way you want. If you lower your self and are rooted in your own logic and emotion over "GREED", then you give it power over your self by way of the thought or feeling about it (which usually changes over time). All things are all things. What do you want to make of them? Understand to the point of knowing WHY. Even with YOUR WHY-- "it is what it is, nothing more, nothing less." Your purpose of something does not change what it is, nor does it change who you are.

"...Know to the point of BEING."

The full phrase is something like "Question to the point of Considering (think) to the point of Understanding to the point of Knowing to the point of BEING. (And the most honest way of Knowing is to BE)." Know the word. Each word is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. Knowing is not thinking or understanding. Believing is not knowing or thinking. Wanting is wanting. Questioning is Questioning. In the flow of coming into your own self and space, your own mind, this is a good path. Question to the point you Consider. Consider (think) to the point you Understand. Understand to the point you Know. Know to the point you Love (completely individually without condemning or glorifying, ACCEPT). Love to the point you freely honestly BE.

"KNOW THE WORD."

Knowing the word is based on a few things. The main concept comes from the idea that at core of all things is one word. Everything works to express that one word. The body, mind, and soul all take their queue from ONE WORD. Each word is a spirit, or way of being, which is an expression of PURE BEING, which is the purest most honest expression of a thing (of that word). So to know what reality is, who you are, what's going on, and why, then it is best to know the word everything is rooted in or based on. "In the beginning [IS] the word... and the word [is] with God... and the word [is] GOD." I know the scripture. "IS" is PRESENT TENSE, meaning happening NOW. It is CURRENT-SEE. "WAS" is not entirely honest, though it is true and a reality, but it is more than PAST TENSE. All there is is the NOW, so it's more honest to say "IS"... says me. Knowing the past word pales in comparison to knowing the current one being expressed now.

“No one or thing that is conscious to the point of Being, thinking, and expressing… does anything unless they get something out of it… and the thing sought after the most is the experience that yields a knowing of divinity of self in the now.”

In the whole Samurai Ruach school of thought, this would be the underlying key in all of conscious being, if not in all of bein gin general. This is WHY ____.  All "Why"s at the core are this. It all comes down to what you think you know. When it comes to that, you know all things. All things are inside of you. All spirits are energies, or ways, or thoughts, and all thoughts are things. This is understood because there i the veil) cannot think of (or call from behind the veil) to illuminate (be thinking) to the point of knowing to the point of being. You can only think and call things that exist, and all things exist. WHY they come into your existence, into your world, into your being is because of this quote.

"One Fire to another..."

This phrase is like "being honest, from the pure honesty of one conscious being to another..." which is a lot to say. To some degree, each of us has a fire. Some burn with more intensity than others, from moment to moment, and the colors may reflect, even in auras. So it would be the pure raw fine in one being relating or communicating to another-- beyond thinking, believing, wanting, wishing, hoping, questioning... in the spirit of honest KNOWING to the point of BEING, this is me and my fire offering this to you and your fire.

"The 3 Spiritual Relationships..."

The Way of The Samurai Ruach is a Spiritual path. All things are, honestly. In fact, I offer you this: In this "reality" the path cuts 3 ways at once, so every moment is rooted in one way, or every moment is one step on one path: Body (The Game), Mind (The Business), or Soul/Spirit (Pure BEING). ONE WAY to help you make a solid honest step is to KNOW THE WORD. To help know the word, know that the word is spirit. Spirit is rooted in BEING. So there is BEING and another word. Since the word is spirit, you will be expressing it, and it will mirror you (your being). This expression and mirroring comes by way of 1 of 3 Relationships with (a) Spirit. You are either (1) BEING WITH a spirit... (2) BEING HAVING a spirit.... or (3) BEING IN a spirit. There is more on this in THE 3 SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIPS, but briefly... Understand this is your expression, or how you are seeing "reality" and self be expressed. THE MIRROR is the spirit's relationship with YOU, since a vibration is the energy and relationship between two points. YOU are one point, the SPIRIT is the other. Both of your hearts sending and receiving, like breathing... Ruach. So in every moment, each moment is it's own individual expression.... YOU are either Being HAVING, Being WITH, or Being IN a spirit, and at the same time, the Spirit is either Spirit having it's being by HAVING, being WITH, or being IN you. There's more on this in THE BOOK OF 3's, and some of the other writings in THE BOOK OF THE SAMURAI RUACH.

"This “reality”, life, world, or whatever you want to call it, is largely rooted in deception, division (things in 3’s, 2’s), deceit, distraction, I's (Individuality), ignorance, and illusion."

The reason you exist is to purely be. "HERE" in The Game, or the lowest (or lower) vibrational ways of BEING, the GAME is about filling the [illusion of] NEEDS created in the Mind (for the sake of handling Business) by satisfying the "Needs" with what you WANT. Since all of it is an illusion, even your birth and death, understand the gift of them. You as an eternal being will never honestly know these, other than these ways of being (through experiencing them by being human, or some other finite expression of BEING). As real as the illusions are here, they are that nonetheless. You are here to NOT BE KNOWING THAT.  Don't get me wrong, you KNOW, and what you know you cannot UN-know. You can divert your attention, distract, go for illusions, deceive, divide your self or attention from what you are aware of.... you can Play The GAME. This is why illusions are more fun "here." This is why lies are easier to believe. This is why wanting is better than having "here." KNOWING i a solid concrete point. What you know, you know, period. There is nowhere to go. THINKING is not knowing. You can think about what you know, and explore the [seemingly] "infinite" number of ways it can be expressed, which adds more experience, more to have, be, and do. It doesn't change what you know, but it does allow you to see and experience more of the abundance. If you know that's how things work, use that how you want... because that's what you'll do anyway.

"Why is not only the question to ask, but it is A key to know. Know your (The) 3 Y's"

There are 3 "Ys" that come into play when it comes to BEING. Another way of saying that: All things (BEING) exist, and this is rooted in 3 things which show the entire process. Conscious or not, ALL THINGS have 3 Y's. The 3 Y's are THE WISE- which is on one side, your conscious purpose and end point, and also, on the other side, your origin and the spark that created your fire (the fire given to you/that is you). In the center it is your being in motion, in action. It is your know-ING of self. This could be seen as the SPIRITUAL or SOUL arena. All things are here, illuminated on one side (heaven & hell, the abundance in light) and on the other side behind the veil (the void, the darkness, the non-illuminated Pure States) It is you Walk-ING your walk and gain-ING "ground" or foundation. Then there is the "WHY's" - which are again the same things mirrored, yet in the middle. It is all things in a Mental arena. The point of everything is simply TO BE. The ROOT of all words is BEING. Given that, WHY is completely up to you. In your BEING, each one spirit in it's moment, KNOW YOUR 3 WHYs and WHO's. Lastly, there is the manifestation, the Y's. Once you are spiritually in tune and WISE (conscious = individually willed and focused awareness) and you have your own intention set (WHYs) then then next step is to express and BE that, to know it fully. I didn't want to, but I'll have to throw in a picture here.... ((sigh))....

Ok, so, if you can make sense of that we can keep this whole page, and conversation here shorter. I'm getting the feeling that's not the case. Everything is something to do.  Y is the manifestation process. Blue is water, feminine, behind the veil, the well or womb or woman at the well, the Spirit... Red is the mind, the illuminated abundance, the known, masculine, fire, the God... Look at the MIND Over MATTER cards and you'll get it more. Here, I'll link it. OK, so back to Y's. There are always 2 points, and the 3rd is the bridge or the relationship between them. So two points merge, and are expressed as the third point. That's descending. Ascending is one point rising and then dividing into two points and the all things between them. That's it in a nutshell. Blue, void, Spirit moves COUNTER-Clock-WISE, or outside of consciousness, it's pure awareness. Red, abundance, God (mind) moves Clock-WISE, consciousness or self in moments. Pure BEING is both at once. That's the 3 images there. This is all in THE BOOK OF 3's, THE WAY OF OPEN HAND, and other books in THE BOOK OF THE SAMURAI RUACH. BUT yeah, those are your 3 Y's... There's WISE (spirit, soul, above, Pure BEING, la vie), WHYs (mind= emotional door to spiritual, and logical door to physical... mind, mid gatekeeper, THE MIRROR, The B-us-IN-es[sence], the veil, Spirit & God, la guerre), and Y's (the physical or manifestation of the word, the bottom, the GAME. the play, le jeu)... which is a direct mirror of the above. Moving on....

"WHY and WHO are the you Spirit Offers"

It is said that the most successful things answer the questions "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How?" On top of that, they offer information in a way where the recipient has a sense of ownership or feels validated in some way. As a Blacklight, One Fire to Another?..... a lot of that gets wasted-- per design of The Game, "here." Here is an eternal WANT to be filled. You have all spirits in you to "fill" the void, but the purpose of the void, and it's design is to not be filled-- rather, to offer the experience of being filled, or  give you the experience and illusion of filling. It's all for the experience, the BEING. Given that, what the void, and every spirit you toss into it "finding your self" offer is YOUR "WHY" and "WHO." With that, a warning and thing to be mindful of: When engaging in spirits, understand WHY and WHO in the relationship. IF YOU ARE NOT WHO, then understand the WHY of the one claiming to be the spirit, or using the spirit (and you through the spirit) for their WHY. Understand WHO you are using through the spirit, for YOUR "WHY." Spirits are NON-CONSCIOUS ways of BEING. The Pure SPIRIT is the PURE WAY or Pure Energy of a thing. For instance, The Spirit of a DANCER is purely a BEING WHO DANCES. It has nothing to do with loving or hating it, wanting or needing it, being good or terrible. It is purely a BEING who when HAVING, Being WITH, or being IN the spirit of DANCING-- dances. Again, you have all spirits in you to help you express (see to the point of knowing via being your self.Spirits are NON-CONSCIOUS ways of BEING. The Pure SPIRIT is the PURE WAY or Pure Energy of a thing. For instance, The Spirit of a DANCER is purely a BEING WHO DANCES. Again, you have all spirits in you to help you express (see) to the point of knowing via being your self. Because of this "power" you give then via YOUR FIRE, by YOU illuminating THE SPIRIT, then other conscious beings will come along and try to manipulate claiming to be that spirit. Spirits are that one energy. That is all. Conscious beings are ALL SPIRITS, starting with the one they are a soul of. MIND CONTROL is a big thing for conscious beings. Since your main spirit is Pure CONSCIOUS BEING, (one point at the top of the Y) and whatever other spirit Pure Conscious Being is expressing itself, or having being through (the other point at the top of the Y)... which merges into a soul... know the WHO, when it comes to conscious beings, especially SOULS, and Soul Controllers, in all of "your" WHY's. Do not be deceived, used, or abused. Even in that, everything is something to do.

"Walk with me..."

This is just a "nudge phrase," used similarly to "One Fire to Another..." before getting into a subject that may be more raw, or an honesty that may be harder to accept. In writing, it's a way of breaking the 4th wall and speaking directly to you about a thing that is serious, letting you know an explanation is about to come. Walk with me.... Ok, so, phrases like this exist because of the roots of this "reality" according to the Way of The Samurai Ruach. The fundamental frequencies or some of the base frequencies of this "reality"  or world, are rooted in, or in the keys of:  deception, division (things in 3’s, 2’s), deceit, distraction, ignorance, illusion, and things of that nature. That is one point. Their mirror is another point because all things have AT LEAST THREE points. There's (1) the point where you are (currency, current-see), which is the infinite middle gray.... and (2) the point or spirit or "reality" you WANT... and (3) The Opposite of that, which is the other motivation. But still, with all of the illusion, deception, distraction, division, etc. lies are more naturally embraced than truth or honesty. So when you see this, expect some honesty through an explanation... walking you through a way, to a point.

"Walk YOUR Walk."

This idea is based on taking your time. If you are running a walk you may trip up over things, and miss things. You will come to the end quicker than you expect. A hint on coming to the end-- you're an eternal being. There is no end. Given that, it will take you your ENTIRE ETERNAL BEING to BE your self. You are constantly HERE, NOW, which is only KNOWN in hindsight, in the past, after the moment is over. You are always EXISTING and BEING, NOW. It takes no thought, only being. Think and the moment has passed. So just walk. Be honest, all ways, always, and walk your walk. Be your honest self in each step, and in each word. Walk YOUR Walk. Don't walk someone else's, or try to run someone else's walk. Don't even try to run your own. Walk.. YOUR... walk.

"You can't help but judge. Do not glorify or condemn."

This point is tricky to illustrate or convey. Of course, everything is perception, even that... everything is your thinking. So this is only as tricky as we're thinking it is. Ah, but we've spoken that it's tricky, and so now things are in motion to make it so. That proves the point. You can't help but judge. Do not glorify or say things are tricky, or else they'll become that, which is not their honest self. You are a conscious being. Judgment is all you will do. It is part of your WHY, and how you gain WISE. Judgment is just you measuring things to your divinity to know your self in the moment, and the moment in your self. Walk with me... Let's say you come up to a flower growing in the sidewalk.  It's random to you. Not to the flower. You can say it's pretty. Understand, the flower is what it is-- just a flower. It is pretty (a judgement) to YOU. Your judge is your mind. Your mind creates YOUR reality. Do not use it in a way to condemn or glorify things, manipulating other's free being and reality. You cannot honestly say what is what for someone else, only for your self, so treat it as such, and express it in that way. Again, the judge is your mind, so you either logically think, or emotionally feel a judgment, and that is all. "I think/feel that_____ (this flower is pretty)." It is not pretty to the one who is allergic to it, or any animal who eats it and dies, but you're glorifying it and speaking that into their existence may do them harm. Everything is something to do. Everything that is perceived is judgmental, but glorifying ("you're powerful!" even though the intent is positive), or condemning "you're ugly!" or any other declaration of another's being SHOULD NOT... be done. It WILL be done, but it should not. Again, everything is something to do. It decreases honesty. If I am beautiful, and you call me ugly, and I accept that, it kills the honesty in me of my beauty... just like if I do it to you.

"You KNOW all things... you're just not made to be thinking you do, especially "HERE"."

You know water is wet. What is wet? The best way to KNOW is to BE, and in that to BE KNOW-ING, in the moment.... like, to have experience the divinity or pure being of spirit in the moment-- so to be experiencing water to be knowing what you know, and confirm that "Water is wet." You know all things. They're all in you. However, "Here", deception illusionland... you're here to BE... Know-ING.. one thing, per moment. Not ALL THINGS at once. It's a vacation. It's dumbed down. It's muted. It's a fallen state, or lower vibration, so you can have more abundance instead of BEING abundance. You know all things. Here, you are made... to not be thinking... of all you know. What you know is a solid point. In a way, it's death. It's completion. The race is over. There is nothing left to learn. There's noting left to do. Even nothingness you know. So, ignorance is bliss... hence, "here." So, you are not knowING what you know. You still know what you know, but you are not knowing it all in the moment. That gives you a chance to be know-ING what you know. It gives you time. And the more ignorant, the more distracted, divided, the more illusions, etc. ... then the longer you can BE BE-ING. Everything is something to do.
